PEN AGM & Committee Election (Fri 29th Oct)

YOU ARE IN: Home Page > Blog > PEN AGM & Committee Election (Fri 29th Oct)

Whether you are interested in a committee position or just want to help out next year, the best way to get involved in PEN is to come along to the Annual General Meeting on the last day of semester - Friday 29th October at 11am at Tsubu Bar on campus.

The AGM is where Office bearers report on the year, the 2011 committee is elected (President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as other positions) and PEN's plans for 2011 are discussed

The meeting will be followed by the PEN/MSLE end of semester BBQ (free food and booze!)

Committee Positions Open!

Are you continuing your course in 2011? Do you want to get more out of uni life next semester? If so, now is a great time to get involved in the organisation for students and others with an interest in the environment, the Postgraduate Environment Network, as positions on the PEN committee are about to become vacant.

There are many benefits of joining PEN's committee:
- Meeting people and making great friends
- Expanding your professional networks
- Learning practical skills such as project management that look on great on your resume

If you are interested in being on the committee in 2011, feel free to email us at contact@pen.net.au and we'll fill you in on what's involved.

We'd like to get as many people along to the AGM as possible to help plan PEN's direction for 2011, so please come along even if you're not interested in a committee position.

Hope to see you at Tsubu Bar on Friday 29th October at 11AM! Heres a map.
